The Man Who Has Many Answers
“The man who has many answers
is often found
in the theaters of information
where he offers, graciously,
his deep findings.
While the man who has many questions,
to comfort himself, makes music.
– Mary Oliver
This is my exact experience. I began as an artist through some deep emotional healing work I was doing on grief I had been holding since childhood. During the process of healing, the door to art opened up for me and became essential to my self expression and comfort. As time went on, art became even more important in my life.
Life brings loss and grief. To have art as a means of exploring the questions behind the grief is a gift for which I am thankful every day.
