I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I teach Marine Biology at Santa Barbara High School. I grew up with a profound love for the natural world and especially the ocean. A lot of my art is inspired by the beauty in nature. My wife, Kāhea, is from Hawaii and we have three daughters who also have a love for nature and art.
