Artist of the Month

Born in France, I studied art for 2 years at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Nantes. My travelings took me to several African countries, where I deepened my approach of life and naturally developed a taste for bright colors.

Color is my inspiration. The need for colors and the urgency to reproduce, mix, layer, define, collide, rushes me to paint. Even in darkest hours, if I can rest my eyes on a stain of color it brings me peace and hope.

I work with gold leaves often. The gold color has always attracted me for its luminosity and shine, it cradles my soul, and when trying to keep an open heart to reflect gratitude toward the complexity and beauty of our planet Earth, I find it a lifting color.
