I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in Santa Barbara. I am happily married, and we have raised two beautiful children. I attended Santa Barbara High School and Santa Barbara City College Nursing School. As a registered nurse, I found a deep passion for Hospice and worked for many years throughout Santa Barbara County.

Traumatic events over time confronted me with Mental Health challenges which interfered with my nursing career path. This then opened a new window of opportunities. I have always found respite in my love for music as a singer but then…, discovered collage and quilting. This new outlet brought me the joy of fabrics, colors, and textures but felt restricted in my creativity when adhering to traditional quilting techniques.

I then began to explore on-line collage quilting classes which tapped into my creative juices: “I was Hooked.” Most days you can find me immersed in my garage/studio designing collages from gorgeous fabrics and inspirational photographs. I hope that my Fabric Art Collage techniques and whimsical style lift your spirits and bring you as much joy and healing as it brings me.
