I strive to capture in painting a sense of the soul of place and time.  I primarily paint outdoors finishing a painting in one session.  Painting en plaine air is an immersion in the ambience of the surround.  I think of it a bit like fishing, communing in nature, catching some fish, throwing some back, and taking some home.  I hope you will enjoy looking at some that I have ‘taken home’.
