Many of us are privileged to enjoy beautiful land, weather and neighbors. It is easy to live in our local comfort. This series of paintings is my way, as a plein air artist, to bring troubling issues into a local context. It is my belief that disturbing global issues need to be addressed from a local arena in order to sustain our shared humanity on spaceship earth.
