Artist of the Month

I am inspired to create art that elicits curiosity, feelings, and memories in the observer. My encaustic paintings are often of familiar subjects that have a rather mysterious or ethereal quality to transport the viewer to another place evocative of a moment filled with discovery or wonder. Living in California my entire life has fostered my love of nature and fascination with the ocean.
