Living in California has fostered my love of nature and fascination with the sea.  In creating art, I look for the delicate, transient and calm as well as the dramatic in every day moments and nature.  I hope to elicit curiosity in the observer, and it is rewarding when I hear how my art might strike a chord in someone, perhaps by surfacing an emotion or memory, as this is the enriching space where our paths intersect.
