A rainbow shows us the melting of one hue into another, from red to violet, and all shades in between. The captivating ocean, with the right lighting, spotlights beautiful deep, jewel hues of blue, green and turquoise and all the reflections of the vibrant colors of the sky above.

I seek to capture all the beautiful colors of nature in my pastel paintings. The “super bloom” season this year in California with the explosion of the luscious colors of wildflowers everywhere can make a nature photographer and artist deliriously happy.
