Lisa Skyheart Marshall’s exhibit “Flowery” shows her watercolor+ink paintings expressing a love of nature. Also included in this exhibit are a couple of the diminutive buildings she enjoys painting.

Each piece begins with a careful drawing and design. Marshall spends time slowing down and seeing the details of plants and birds as well as insects.

Marshall’s work celebrates the natural world around her at home or on her travels.

Marshall works in her loft studio in Ojai, serenaded by the birds in her oak trees.
