Pausha Foley

A person is a carnival of faces. Faces that are private, some which are public, some are on display only to close friends. There are faces reserved exclusively for lovers to experience and then there’s that one face which is only ever viewed in mirrors. The portraits presented in “Many Faces” attempt to capture all aspects of the human experience – the myriad facets and intricacies which constitute any human being.

Pausha is a painter who uses pens and brushes to express her unique perspective on the reality surrounding her. With a conceptual approach, Pausha develops forms that do not follow logical criteria, but are based only on subjective associations and parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations.

Pausha currently lives and works in Santa Barbara, CA.
