Robin Deshayes is a contemporary impressionist landscape painter whose work focuses on color & abstraction over traditional narrative. She paints the natural and the built world, painting plein air all over the western US. She uses her plein air work as inspiration for larger studio pieces. “Town & Country” is a presentation of recent work (both studio & plein air) done in Santa Barbara County’s coasts, towns, and farmlands. Robin has studied with some of the West’s leading impressionist painters, and is currently studying under Anton Nowels, OPA, AIS. Robin lives in Los Olivos, California.
