The theme of September’s show is what I am calling “Photo-Organics.” I am taking prints of my close-up, abstract nature shots and adding organic elements to the surface of the print. The idea behind this is to add both 3 dimensionality and interest to the print by incorporating objects from nature into part of the printed image itself. Hopefully this adds a sense of verisimilitude or authenticity to the printed representation of the photographed object.

Here we are.
I’m showing you some of the stuff I’ve created for September’s show.
I’m putting it out there.
You’re looking things over.
We are in this together at this moment in time.
I have been exploring close-up abstract nature photography (among other things) for the past 3 ½ years.
The whole process of getting here has been quite the experience for me after 75 plus years.
The trip itself has been quite amazing and very satisfying indeed but, alas,
I also would like for you to enjoy this passing little dance if possible.
