Artist of the Month
I have lately been exploring new ways to present my photographic images to the public.
I have recently been printing my abstract nature shots and layering organic elements such as twigs, leaves, stems, etc to the surface of the photograph. I call this series “Photo Organics.”
I have also been searching for handmade art papers from around the world on which to print my abstract nature images to create more of a one of a kind painterly “fine art look.” I find myself interested in presenting more of the emotional, “poetic” look of an image as opposed to a print that stresses the photographic realism of the subject matter. I have been discovering some great hand made papers to experiment printing upon with some very interesting results.
