Sue’s paintings in this show are of late Summer in Santa Barbara as well as places further afield. Her interest in the Spanish/ Moorish architecture of Santa Barbara is present in her rendition of the Arlington Theatre, local public buildings and Santa Barbara cafes. Other work include the Mediterranean coast of Italy and the tropics of Central America. Domestic interiors—part realism and part imagination—round out this show in the painting “Cat in the Mirror.”

Sue’s been an active member of SBAA since 1985. Her work can be seen at Gallery 113 monthly and Sundays at the Santa Barbara Sunday Beach Show on Cabrillo Blvd. and Garden Street.
