Susan was born in 1955 in Gulfport, Mississippi but grew up in Cleveland OH. Her mother, grandmother and aunts were all artists. She now resides in Santa Rosa Valley, CA. She loves to paint ocean scenes especially sunsets. Lately the beautiful blooming flowers have caught her attention and she puts them  onto a black background to make the flowers appear 3D.  She is presently under the tutelage of Jannene Behl, a renowned artist and member of the California Art Club.
